Specifications: 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, High Performance 4-Door Sedan, Certified Calibration, 2WD – 2-Wheel Rear Drive, Ford 4.6 Liter V8 High Output Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cloth/Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, GVWR - 5,942#, GAWR Front – 2,782#, GAWR Rear – 3,160#, P235/60R16 Tires, VIN: 2FAFP71WX4X129541, 108,612 Miles. Negatives to list: 1. Paint condition is overall poor, paint is faded and clearcoat is completely worn off in places, the worse spots are on the trunk lid and back of car. 2. Police decals were partially removed leaving behind a glue residue and some remaining decals, some of the decals have damaged the paint beyond repair, still see outline of where decals have been. 3. All hubcaps/wheel covers are missing. 4. Wire sticking out of top of roof from where the lightbar had been hooked up. 5. Window control panel loose on driver’s side, A/C doesn’t work. 6. Radiator has leak, but engine hasn’t run hot, looks like a hole in bottom of radiator and could have happened during transport. 7. Transmission will only shift into the first 2 gears, it will not shift into 3rd or overdrive, not sure if it simply needs a transmission service/rebuild, selling it as is. Located in Mississippi, this car belonged to a state agency in our neighboring state of Louisiana since new, one owner, was used Police/Security car at a State operated Port with all of the light bars and decals that it required but never had a cage, was driven by police/security around the port property, it was recently replaced with a new one because of age and issues! We purchased it directly from the state agency along with some other items, not from a broker or dealer, simply turning the car into cash. We have owned and sold several pieces of equipment/trucks from this same state agency and they all have been very good, car has been worked out of and is 14 years old but has been serviced by the book since day #1. After purchasing we had an employee try and drive this police cruiser back from Louisiana 110 miles but we realized that the transmission wouldn’t shift into 3rd or OD so we loaded it up and hauled it. This low mile car cranks right up, has a hot battery, engine runs great, radiator has a water leak but can be fixed and there are no warning or “check’ engine type lights on, transmission again will only shift in 1st and 2nd gear and not 3rd and OD, will go into reverse, air conditioning is not cold, heat is hot, it will drive down the road just not very fast, tire condition is decent and can clearly be seen in the photos, the few negative things to mention are paint and where the decals have been removed, whoever the port hired to have the lights and decals removed did an absolutely horrible job leaving the car looking terrible with some damage to the paint that can’t be fixed and visible outlines from the decals that were removed, the decals outlines will most likely buff/wax right out with a little effort but the scratches are there forever and I took as many detailed pictures and I could, IT IS ROUGH, UGLY, LOOKS HORRIBLE, besides that what you see is what you get and we are selling as is with NO RESERVE! Because the car has been sitting for some time waiting to be sold we would suggest a standard service to the fluids, filters, pressures (transmission may just need a new filter and fluid). This car is over 14 years old, only has 108k miles on it and is rough around the edges but if you can work out some of the issues we listed and don’t really care what the outside looks like the this may just be the car for you.
