I am selling my 1985 American Motors Jeep CJ-7. I purchased this Jeep from a gentleman who purchased it with 5,000 miles on it. The Jeep has been garage kept it's entire life. Never been off road. The condition of this jeep is purely the result of meticulous care. This Jeep HAS NOT been restored. It is ALL original. Original paint as well which is in phenomenal condition. I have included pictures of every blemish on the vehicle I could find as I feel it is important to disclose these details. The blemishes are as follows: Both fenders have nicks in the paint that have been touched up only (see pictures) I have not had them repaired due to the fact that I feel it is extremely important to keep the paint ALL original as the real beauty of this automobile is in it's original paint. There is a nick in the front windshield and the driver seat and added center console have cracking in the vinyl. Other than that, what you see is what you get. TRUE BEAUTY. The Jeep has both perfect CarFax and AutoCheck reports. Never any accidents. The soft top is the original vinyl which has been conditioned over the years to avoid cracking. Some clouding in the vinyl windows due to age. Zippers all work as designed as they have been conditioned with vaseline over the years as well. The front grill guard was added when the Jeep was first purchased to keep bugs out of the radiator due to Jeep's grill design. This Jeep is in perfect mechanical condition and purrs like a kitten. I am only selling this Jeep as my wife is making me due to the mass of vehicles I have accumulated in my collection. If this does not sell, trust me, my feelings will not be hurt. Revision: Through my adventures of taking pictures for bidders that I never would have even thought to take, I remembered the original manual was in the dash and the owner I purchased it from kept records of every service he did to the Jeep from the day he first got it. I feel this is an extremely important piece and I have swapped two pictures out to include these records. I removed the pic of the inside headliner of the top and a picture of the included bikini top. Both photos are available via text. Also, I wanted to add that I have the original M.R. 252 service manual that I got from the owner of the Jeep and it is included.
