This Buick Roadmaster Collector’s Edition is a one-owner car that has been well cared for. He rides on the GM B-body platform, which is rear-wheel drive and features a badass iron-head, police service version of the LT1 V-8 from the Corvette. The transmission shifts smooth. The exterior is original and in good condition. The paint is strong with no flaking, but the trim is showing some minor wear. The finish on the wood grain trim is sun bleached. The interior is clean. It has a new Air Ride system that is mounted in the cargo area behind the panel on the passenger side. Two switches are mounted in the ash tray compartment (front bags/rear bags) and they are easily accessible. The front is riding on new 18" Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in 225/45ZR-18 Sumitomo HTR Z tires. The rear sports 20" Torque Thrust with fat 275/30ZR-20 Sumitomo HTR Z's. The highway feels smooth at 80+ MPH in cruise-controlled comfort. It also has a nice touch screen Kenwood deck with a back-up camera. This is a good sleeper that is gaining a cult following. Buyer interest, as measured by Hagerty’s insurance quoting activity, is up 37 percent for the Roadmaster over the last 12 months. They are most popular among younger Gen X buyers which suggests Big Pimpin’ will only go up in value while you’re cruising around with 7 or 8 of your best friends.
