This car was part of a group of British cars that I purchased a few months ago from an elderly neighbor who now has Alzheimers. His friend was assisting in helping him dispose of his belongings. He owned the car for the last 14 years & I had seen him driving this & his other British cars around the island over the last several years. What attracted me to this car was it's originality. It appears to be all original paint & interior, wearing it's history like a badge of honor, & holding up very well considering that it's now 50 years old.It runs & drives great. Shifts properly, holds good oil pressure, & runs cool. All gauges appear to be in proper working order. It brakes properly. Another thing that attracted me was the automatic transmission, as they only made 764 MGC's in automatic, which makes it a very easy car to drive. The odometer works & shows 15,139 kilometers, which I assume has turned over once. This equates to about 71,500 miles, which by brake pedal wear, etc., appears to be actual.Now, for all the disclaimers: I do not need any assistance in selling this car. I require a non- refundable $500 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of auction end, as you are not giving the deposit for the opportunity to determine whether or not you want to buy it: just bought it. Balance within 7 days by cash or wire transfer. ( You may be able to tell that I have been burned a few times & I want this to be a good experience for everybody).While it is buyers responsibility to make shipping arrangements, I will assist in any reasonable way, & can store the car for up to 14 days while shipping is arranged. Please keep in mind that I am not intimately familiar with this car, & due to the sellers health issue, he was not able to provide a lot of information as to it's history, though I see by a sticker that it had been serviced recently.I have priced this car what I consider to be very reasonable so that it sells: thousands less than my competition, so bid to own.
