Up for auction is a 1972 Challenger 340 4-barrel, automatic, Rallye in ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION with NUMBERS MATCHING ENGINE, TRANS and every drive train component of the car. Car still has its original paint except passenger side fender which looks like it was replaced long ago. Still has its original factory build sheet stuck underneath the front driver's seat untouched. I did not try to pull it out because I didn't want to ruin it. Car has been sitting inside a garage for almost 30 years. Last inspected and driven in 1990. The car is very solid. NO RUST in trunk, floors, frame rails, rockers, and torsion bar braces. It has some rust in bottom of fenders, and quarters, which is a very easy fix. (Shown in pictures). Car was started with replacing plugs and carb cleaning. It runs and drives with very low brakes. It will need tires, tune up, hoses, belts, brakes, and more to be road worthy. Car is a numbers matching, untouched, 340, 4 barrel, Rallye. Tried to decode some numbers, but I listed pictures of the Vin number and fender tag so you can do your own decoding. It does not have stripes because it was ordered with the V68 option (delete stripes).
