1978 Ford F-150 Super Cab, 4x4. This truck was bought new at Raymond Ford in Powell, Wyoming, where it has lived its whole life. This truck sports a very solid frame and body. It will make a good everyday driver or a nice starting point for an easy restoration. It’s original 400 runs well. It was rebuilt at NAPA in Cody, Wyoming less than 10,000 miles ago. The original 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 4x4 works like it should. I was told this was a rare truck, so I pulled a Marti Report which is included in the pictures. There were only 782 done with these engine/transmission codes. Here's the stuff that needs some love:Driver’s floor pan has rusted through. We can put a new pan in for $640.Driver’s door panel is broken but still works fine. A new set for both doors is $130.There are two previous repairs where you will find body filler: Just in front of the driver’s-side rear cab corner. It appears to be a dent that was filled with mud rather than a proper metal repair. The second spot is a dent on the driver’s-side of the hood at the front. You can see both spots in the pictures. I am happy to send more pictures upon request.
