Is this the cleanest, most original 1979 Bronco XLT Ranger on the planet?!? This sweet truck has been sitting in a barn (a real barn, in Montana) for the last 10+ years. She was taken out and driven sparingly to keep the fluids flowing and tires happy. It was sold new at Archie Cochrane Ford in Billings, MT where it resided until it was sold to its second owner in Bridger, MT. The current Montana title (2nd owner) from 1988 shows 54,738 actual mileage. If you know anything about a Bronco -- or pretty much any classic car or truck -- you know that the condition of the interior tells a truck’s life story. This truck has the cleanest, most well-cared-for interior I've ever seen in a truck of this age. The seats are original, the carpet is original ... everything in there is original and all in fantastic condition. The rear seat, interior rear quarter panels, and passenger seat look almost like they have never been touched since they left the factory. The headliner does not sag and the chrome trim is near perfect. The carpet is original and in good condition. The mechanicals are in solid working order as well. She is running her original 400 with the original C6 automatic transmission. She runs, drives and shifts wonderfully. If you live in negative temps, she likes to warm up before going anywhere. She also has factory A/C and factory cruise control, which is somewhat rare. All her mechanicals, lights, horn, blinkers, etc. are functioning. It has new American Racing wheels with 4 New 31x10.50x15 Toyo Open Country A/T tires. The exterior is also in fantastic condition with the exception that, at some point, someone repainted the hood. It is a shade off from the original paint color on the rest of the truck. All the original chrome, trim and moldings are in excellent condition.
