I knew about the truck as the person I got it from used it all of the time, after he restored it ,in local parades where the kids road on the back flatbed and threw candy out and he used it once in a while in dairy days parades where he pulled a smaller float trailer promoting his livestoc...k dairy business. he also showed in regularly in local waukon area car shows. Originally, a farmer bought it when it had a bed on it and used it as a everyday driver for his farm here in the rural waukon area. He drove it until around the mid 90's and parked it in his barn as old age kept him from driving the stick. he ended up passing away. The person I bought the truck from got it through the original owners estate. He got the truck and decided to do a high end restoration on it. He told me he had over $15000 invested in the restoration and after seeing the truck close up and having it in my personal collection for a few years, I believe it. It has a amazing look and you can tell a lot of care and money went into this. This truck is ready to show and drive. have a blast with it getting thumbs up and waves and smiles wherever you go. This truck retains the original 6 cyl 250 engine (engine was rebuilt and gone through) and the 4 speed shift on the floor is super fun to use . Clutch, brakes and tranny are the way they are suppose to be. All of the lights work including the diamond plate flatbed accent lights. gauges light up as well and work. I can recommend shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable. It comes with a clean and clear matching the vin plate title ready to go.
