The first thing we want anyone interested in purchasing this vehicle to know is that we are an antiques store, Wall Street Antiques of Midland Texas. We are selling this vehicle for one of our clients to try and help her out. This vehicle belonged to her late husband, he drove it as a daily driver up until his passing a little over 3 years ago, since then her son drove the car occasionally up until a little over a year ago. It has been sitting outside here in Midland Texas(West Texas) the entire time, that being said we are selling this Corvette for her AS IS, we are unsure of what repairs will be needed in order to make this vehicle a daily driver again. Also the buyer is responsible for picking up and transporting the car after the sale, whether that be them personally transporting it or them getting a shipping company to pick it up. We are not responsible for the cost of shipping or transporting the vehicle, the buyer is responsible for all shipping/transport costs. Also the buyer is responsible for a 10% deposit immediately at time of purchase and full payment within 3 days of purchase. What we have here is a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Coupe with a removable hard top. The vin number on the car is 1G1YY22G515113814, this vehicle has had 5 owners over its lifetime and has been in Texas the entire time. The CarFax reports shows that this Corvette has been in no accidents, has no liens on it, and has a clean and clear title( the owner does have title in hand). The vehicle has approximately 160,000 miles on it(it has a digital odometer so we can not see the exact miles), it has the original Magnetic Red II Metallic paint on the exterior and the black and tan leather interior. The car will need a new paint job, it is very faded. The engine, transmission, and exhaust are all original, it has the LS1 5.7L V8, automatic transmission, with dual exhaust. The only problem the car had when they stopped driving it was a slight front engine oil leak(this is according to the son of the owner).
