Up for auction is this repairable 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. To make it road ready at a minimum; it needs a new windshield and the driver door to able to shut completely. It was in a recent accident that pushed in the driver side front corner of the roof resulting in a bend that prevents the driver door from shutting. Driveability for vehicle handling is stable and was unaffected; alignment, steering, braking and suspension functions as designed. It however due to an electronic safety feature triggered by roll over will not run.Beyond what is described above to give full function of all components is the following; driver door entry handle: cannot open door from outside. Trunk hatch door does not open, only the glass door does. It will need new side mirrors.Exterior and interior lights all work. All glass except for windshield is in good shape. Weather stripping, exterior trim and door seals are unremarkable. Has the original factory wheels and the tires in fair condition. No fluid leaks or burning. Belts, hoses and electrical harnesses in good shape. Exhaust may perhaps have a small leak in the resonator.Inside the seating needs only a cleaning; no holes or broken springs and are adjustable. It does not have a radio.
