Vehicle Detail

2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. This car had every option new. It has been my daily driver to work since January 2006 and driven 96 miles per day interstate. I retired, so I don't need 5 cars now! 99% of the 287,300 miles are interstate. I have maintained this car myself. I use BG products, Engine flush and Motor Oil Additive each oil change. I have changed the oil, transmission fluids regularly. Every belt and hose has been changed by myself 18 months ago. Brakes are ceramic. Things that are wrong are minor in my opinion. I have driven the car for 5 years while each time starting a "stability sensor" light appears on the dash read out. This is a sensor on the steering column that means nothing to the driving. It passed inspection 5 years! It's simply a nuisance light. You simply hit a button and it no longer appears....until the next time you drive. It hasn't been any issue for me, and a mechanic told me that his car did the same, and to "drive it". I've done so for 5 years. The gas gauge has a mind of it's own, and I'd say you can't depend on it, but again I have driven for several years. The light does come on when the tank gets down to 80 miles left to alert that you will need fuel. Tires will need to be replaced within 15K miles. The steering wheel plastic over the faux wood under the left hand has started to peel, but it's just cosmetic. The front right side fender has a very small bend in it (sorry to say, but from a dog). It's not very noticeable and has no paint issue. It's minor. The heads up display must have a light burned out, so it doesn't project anymore, this may be easily fixed?? The car runs great like most all the 3.8 engines do. It's been my favorite of many buick P.A.s I've owned. The wheels in fact I have seen for $1,000 per set. I will accept a certified bank check, but prefer a face to face (you inspect), and we transfer funds and title. If you do pay by certified bank check, I require that it clears my bank 15 days prior to you taking possession of the vehicle or title. Come test drive it. It also has a 12 disc CD changer in the truck (factory). The car is too good to part out, but I know the high mileage will bother some, but I could have parted out this car and gotten much for for just the components. I drove it from NC to the GA Mountains twice this past month. Added: front windshield has a small rock chip. It could be fixed using the sealant method, and is located almost on the black surround to the far left of the drivers view. I didn't fix it b/c it wasn't a problem. If it got any worse, I would have.
