Vehicle Detail

Auction ended Dec 1 at 12:30 and the winning bidded asked to "cancel the auction". Then they deleted their account. So I'm relisting for 3 days. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME JUST BIDDING. 1981 Monte Carlo V-6. Selling my car due to medical problems with my daughter. It has not been driven for over a year. I couldn't get it to crank today. My plans had been to replace the engine with a V-8 305 but never got to it with the birth of my kids. No time and finances to put into it. Depending on the person, it would not take much to get it to a "very" nice condition. The transmission was rebuilt in 2014 through Wansley Machine and Driveline Service in Laurel, MS. So, if one wanted to just rebuild or replace with a V-6 engine, it would go perfectly and be ready to go without problems. Exterior is in decent condition with minor dent (in picture) and a small "cut" on the hood that a paint shop should be able to fill with auto putty (about 3 inches long and a 1/5 inch wide). The interior is also decent. Just needs a good vacuuming or detailing. The tires only have about 15,000 miles on them but they have been sitting up so I would suggest replacing. All lights works inside and outside. Car would have to be towed. Please send your questions and I will answer honestly. Thanks and happy bidding On Dec-02-17 at 11:19:21 PST, seller added the following information: Addition: I'm not mechanically savvy, but when I opened the trunk today, I saw the AC compressor. It hit me that the problem I had with the engine was the belt broke from the compressor locking up. The belt was also connected to the alternator. So I didn't get back to servicing it because (again) I was looking to upgrade to a V-8 305 and it sat up.
