The 2002-2004, as most know, was one of the best C5's made with the heavy duty rear axles and seals, updated swaybar links and suspension, improved noise insulation throughout the car and between the floor panels, improved igniton with no ignition lockout issues as in early models and as a bonus, this one has a big brake system with Hawk Performance ceramic pads that rivals the Z51. The 2002-2004 model also has the 2nd gen LS1 engine that has all the best updates to the already bullet-proof LS1 including better fuel injection, high tension piston rings, improved rocker arm techology and the LS6 intake manifold for improved horsepower, just to name a few. The engine and trans work flawless with zero leaks, noises, smoke or other issues and always carefully and professionally maintained. Approx 25mpg! FYI, she makes 350 horsepower to the massive rear wheels and only weighs 3100lbs so I would only recommend this car to a driver with maturity and experience.... these cars are capable of 175mph+ and with incredible acceleration can be a handful if not respected.
