Selling my 1979 Pontiac Trans am. It has had a 1978 Trans am front end swapped on earlier in its life. It features a 403 6.6 Liter V8 engine, with a Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission. The motor and transmission are completely stock except for the addition of long tube headers. AC components appear to be there and intact except for the AC compressor and lines. New brake booster and master cylinder. Black interior in very nice shape with minimal cracking/fading throughout. The radio has been replaced with an aftermarket kenwood unit that plays aux and cd's. The seat have no tears and very nice cushioning still. The dash has cracking. All the gauges work and display accurate information. Dome light works, and even the clock works. Body has no rust what so ever. The chassis, subframe, and all body panels are completely rust free. The black paint and decals are showing there age and will need to be redone if looking for a show car. Right now the car cleans up very well and is presentable at shows. All exterior lights work. Problems with the car:-Passenger exhaust manifold leaks slightly -hi/low beam switch is broken so brights stay on-2nd gear servo seal cover on outside of transmission leaks some when parked (just needs new seal for about 3 dollars)-Power steering makes small amount of noise but the level is full, might need a new pump.-Snowflake wheels have some discoloration -Needs armrests put back on The car comes with the original build sheet, all receipts that have been accrued, t top bags, original jack, miscellaneous parts.
