This car is an EXCELLENT example of a great slk. The engine is very smooth with lots of power, transmission shifts EXCELLENT, suspension and steering are nice firm and tight, the brakes are great and tires are in good shape. All the bushings and mounts feel nice and tight. The convertible tops work very smooth, without any hesitation or funny noises. The exterior is in great shape for the year. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition for an SLK. The seats are in excellent condition, the door panels are perfect and the headline is EXCELLENT (most slk headliners suffer from sag due to hydraulic leaks). The drive quality is very nice, it drives like a great SLk should. In my opinion, the first generation slk are the best slk made.
