Vehicle Detail

1959 Cadillac 75 series 9 passenger Limousine. Car has front and rear AC, fog lamps, power vent windows, rear radio control, Autronic Eye, divider window. The car runs, drives and stops fine. It has 53,000 miles. No rust except for a few small dimples on the very bottom of the rear quarters. Floors, trunk and rockers are nice with no rust. It was sold new in South Carolina car, then went to North Carolina. Originally a black car but was repainted Dunston Blue by a prior owner. Paint has some issues especially on the roof and trunk. The interior is original, back seat is very nice with only one pull/tear on the far side. Front seat bottom has wear, SMS in Oregon has this material. The headliner is extremely nice. The chrome is original and shows age. This is a very early production car, number 35 of 710 built, and it has the rarely seen black metal finish covers on the top of the front grill. I was told only about the first 1,500 cars had this feature before Cadillac decided to save money and do away with them. The lights, directionals, backup lights, wipers, horn all work. The windows work from the master switch on the drivers side only. The AC/heat blower, radio and interior lights do not work. The divider window works when you jiggle the switch. So, the interior has some electrical issues that will need to be sorted out. Most likely needs a heater core because it is bypassed. It just developed a power steering leak. Not sure if it's a hose or something else, but it wasn't leaking two weeks ago when I took the car for an oil change. I don't see any other major leaks, just a couple of drips. It sounds like the intake manifold may have a minor leak, so I'm including another one in case it has a crack. I will also include the correct vented fuel filter assembly. The rare early 1st edition owners manual is in the glove box. I had intentions of restoring this car but I just don't have the time. Its a nice solid complete car, perfect candidate for a restoration, or do a few things and drive as is. It is located about 25 minutes from the Newark airport. I can assist in bringing the car to a shipping company for export. I would be open to discuss delivering the car locally depending on how far. Call or text with any questions or if you need additional photos, 908 963 2063. Car is being sold as-is with no warranty's. Immediate deposit of $500 at purchase, balance within 7 days.
