Vehicle Detail
1999 Jaguar XJ-8 This is a classic beauty in good running condition. No body damage or rust. There is one small spot on the right/front of the roof where the paint has begun to peel, but there is no rust. No excessive wear, rips or tears or to the leather interior. No stains in the carpet. 142,000 miles. It does need a little work, but runs well as is. Details on the work it needs are as follows. The check engine light is currently on, and it needs two of the four oxygen sensors replaced in order correct this and to pass emissions inspections where required. The last dealer/mechanic to look at it recommended replacing all four oxygen sensors. Also, the remote entry key fob is not working, and the car is currently in valet mode, which means there is no way to get into the trunk until the remote is repaired or replaced. And no, we do not have the green key to unlock the trunk manually. This will be a great car for someone who wants to recondition it, or at the very least it would bring a lot of money if sold for parts. The title is clean and clear. On Oct-30-17 at 15:30:36 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple of items that I overlooked when creating this listing. The ABS light is on, but the last dealer/mechanic to look at the car said that it is only a sensor and that the brakes are working fine. I've driven it recently and can attest to that. Also, there is a large crack in the windshield on the driver's side. I apologize for omitting these details initially. They are things that I had intended to note when I first listed the car, but it had been some time since I had driven the car and they slipped my mind. The car is still well worth the current listing/bid price, but I understand if anyone wants to retract their bid.
