Up for auction... Complete Real POLICE CAR and MOVIE PROP going to the Highest bidder!!! If you ever wanted to cheaply acquire your very own fully operational POLICE CAR, NOW IF YOUR CHANCE! - SUPER LOW RESERVE - This Cop Car was rented out for TV Shows, Movies, and Modeling Shoots. The rental business made almost $10,000 last year off this one car alone. It's basically a turn-key POLICE CAR RENTAL business, and it's ready to make money or be enjoyed by a private collector and owner. Rental contract can accompany sale. It's STREET LEGAL, but with some simple configurations, becomes a non street legal police car. NOTE: These standard old black & white cars are street legal in most states (check yours) without the roof light bar attached or anything that says police as in decals and logos. THE LAST PICTURE SHOWS THE STREET LEGAL IN NEVADA NORMAL CONFIGURATION, WITHOUT ROOF LIGHT AND LOGOS ATTACHED. (But everything is included) This is a 1999 standard BLACK & WHITE Crow Vic Police Interceptor, that runs and looks good. It's the most common model used across the country for Law Enforcement and in most movies. For a older model that has seen its share of action on the streets, not to mention the big screen, its in amazingly good condition. Keep in mind movie props aren't perfect, or do they need to be. So it has its share of scratches, chips, including wear and tear for a car of this age. It runs and drives nice, with everything seemingly to be working properly. This POLICED CRUISER needs nothing. Accessories: Working roof lights (Vegas Metro style) with many settings, siren, push bumper with siren, molded rear prisoner seat, bars on back windows, divider wall with sliding window, 3 antennas 2 are whip antennas, 2 spot lights, magnetic Police decals, front and rear Police license plates, standard Police rims, red interior dome light, dash roof light control panel, interior deluxe rubberized flooring instead of carpet. It was designed to legally drive on the streets, or to a movie set. Then within 15 minutes be converted to a Police Car. Instructions for simple conversion: 1. Take out light bar from trunk, place on roof, secure with 2 bolts, plug in specially designed wiring harness. 2. Place magnetic Police decals along the body of the car. 3. Pull off real license plates, and replace with Police plates. Done, and at this point this car is not legal to drive on public streets. (In this configuration, it must be on private property, or a movie set with permits) Buyer assumes all responsibility for proper legal use and control of this vehicle. And agrees not to use this vehicle in any way unlawful. Seller is not responsible for any misuse. Do NOT drive on public streets when configured as a police car, or you will be breaking the law in most if not all states. This is not a toy, but a working police car. As is, with no warranty. Clean title *** IF YOU'RE TRULY INTERESTED IN BUYING, FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. DO NOT EMAIL ME JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY! *** GOOD LUCK & HAPPY BIDDING!!! On Oct-22-17 at 15:55:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Some answers to questions: - No the car does not have rust or body filler, I believe its always been a warm climate car and never seen snow. - No dash cracks, with good interior. There is one hole on the upper side of the seat probably from the long gun being pulled. - As for the vehicle history, it was a service vehicle, then a daily driver, followed by movie car. On Oct-22-17 at 16:17:27 PDT, seller added the following information: - The air and heat work, power windows are fine, passenger power door lock sticks and doesn't always pop up, original radio works great. No check engine light is on. Brakes seem normal, passes emissions, tires fair but mismatched, idles and drives nice. Regular horn was disconnected to change siren sound when approaching intersections as a Police Car, so reconnect if you plan on street driving. A tune-up and transmission fluid change may be a good idea in the future even though its not driven often. - There is one original siren under the hood which we used a few times but not currently, then there's a big PA/siren mounted on the Push Bumper that is not wired. With those reconnected, and a microphone plugged into the light bar control panel on dash, the PA would work. Most film shoots add police sounds later, so these were never a concern. On Oct-23-17 at 15:50:21 PDT, seller added the following information: - Newer models from some auctions are reasonably priced. But converting back to a functional police car, is a project. You'll spend a few thousand dollars on requiring the missing accessories, and a few thousand more on installation. Not a car restoration, but there's some work to do. Almost $1000 was spent on wiring this roof light bar. Simple & quick light bar removal is not typical, and took some serious wiring. That's so it could be driven legally, then easily converted back to a POLICE CAR. - What if you want to make this a 100% cop car, for cars shows, or a collection, and not street driving? Keep the the light bar on the roof connected, and trade in your magnetic POLICE decals for permanent adhesive ones. On Oct-23-17 at 16:11:29 PDT, seller added the following information: *** NOTE: You must arrange AUTO SHIPPING if you're the winning bid, and want delivery. I've used uship in the past. You simply post the job, and people bid on it. *** On Oct-24-17 at 18:30:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: I just read the full vehicle history report and it states the cars origination and half its life was in Oregon, after that California, then Vegas. It did show NO PREVIOUS ACCIDENTS. Here's some of the important info: No abandoned record No damaged or major damage incident record No fire damaged record No grey market record No hail damage record No insurance loss or probable total loss record No junk or scrapped record No manufacturer buyback or lemon record No odometer problem record No rebuilt or rebuildable record No salvage or salvage auction record No water damaged record No NHTSA crash test record No frame or structural damage record No recycling facility record On Oct-24-17 at 18:34:51 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI- There's another Police Car currently on Ebay that's the same year, and equal, if not in worse condition for $12,900. This reserve is NOWHERE NEAR THAT!!! On Oct-25-17 at 01:27:03 PDT, seller added the following information: NO INTERNATIONAL SALES OR SHIPPING! U.S. BIDDERS AND BUYERS ONLY. On Oct-25-17 at 20:57:48 PDT, seller added the following information: CONGRATULATIONS... The Super Low Reserve has been met. HIGH BIDDER WINS their OWN Police Car!!! (If for some reason the winning bidder fails to purchase, the next in line can purchase at their last high bid price.) On Oct-26-17 at 22:37:02 PDT, seller added the following information: *** This starts, runs, and drives nice. Nothing currently needs to be fixed or replaced. *** On Oct-27-17 at 00:33:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Why are you selling? I lost my storage. I'm going to sell me daily driver too, then get a newer Charger Cop Car, convert like this, and have only 1 car. Some INFO about RENTALS: *I typically rent it out at a day rate of $400-600 for FILM & TV. If its an Independent film or something low budget, I'll give them a discount off the $600 normal rate, and rent it for $400. Big Budget Films is a different story. I advertise it on craiglist and mostly on facebook actor and film crew groups. Most of the rentals never drive it. They just get out, or put someone in the back, that kind of thing. * It's pretty FUN & EXCITING renting for film or TV. You're basically the handler of the vehicle on set, and WORK WITH AND AS THE FILM CREW. You get to hangout on a film set, eat free food with the actors and crew, meet actors or celebrities, and move the car as they need it.
