Vehicle Detail

1966 CB160 Sport in excellent running condition. In all the years that I have been buying/selling vintage motorcycles, this little jewel is the cleanest 50 year old Japanese bike Ive ever owned. I bought it at a vintage motorcycle auction and believe it must have lived a very pampered life because it needed nothing but a minor carb cleaning and a new battery. I gave it a thorough tune-up anyway, changed the oil and made some minor adjustments (carb, brakes, chain, new fuel lines). It even has original, impossible to find, paper air filters which are also in very good condition and clean. 160cc 4 stroke twin cylinder engine, 4 speed transmission. The clutch operates smoothly and there is no slipping or grabbing. It shifts through the gear effortlessly and never misses a shift. This little Honda is simply amazing in performance for its size. I took it for a test run down the paved country road I live on and achieved over 60 mph continuously for 2 miles! It also putts around in first gear and never misses a beat. It idles nicely and the throttle response is even and consistent. All the switches, lights and horn work like they should. The electric start works every time and the little motor pops to life so easily. The kick starter is completely operational and is super easy to start also. The frame VIN number and engine VIN number are a couple hundred digits off from each other, as is normal for this era Honda motorcycle. I believe it to be correct and original. All the paint appears to be original except for the front fender. Its the correct color (silver) but I can see traces of blue under the scratches. The rest of the paint has minor scratches and very small dings. The chrome is all clean, no dents in the tank or side covers. One small 1 inch rip on the side of the seat cover but again, amazing condition for its age. NO rust inside the tank or on the wheels. All the cables appear to be original, as are the handlebar grips, footpeg rubber and even the tank badges. The motorcycle as a whole is straight and true and I see no evidence of damage. I will assist in shipping as much as possible. I can deliver to a loading dock in Omaha Nebraska (zip code 68120) for now extra charge. I can also store the bike in my shop until picked up, again for no extra charge, as long as the bike is paid for in full. You can get a free shipping quote from funtransport.com. Feel free to ask any questions or request other pictures. NO RESERVE! I know these little bikes are a rarity in original condition and it will do well on its own accord. Good luck!
