1995 Corolla 220,000 miles. Good runner, local pickup MilwaukeeThis car has been a great runner, in our family for about 15 years. Here's what it needsMy mechanic told me that the valve cover gasket is leaking.O2 sensor is disconnected, resulting in "check engine" light always being on. It is exempt from emission tests, so it's irrelevant.Could probably use rear shocks.A/C is out....I've been driving it in this condition dependably for a month without any problems. Will likely hold up indefinitely, or a mechanic could fix it up inexpensively and it might run forever.It's spent the last 8 years on the west coast, body has dents but little rust.Here's the history:We bought this as my wife's car about 15 years ago off a lot on Lisbon Avenue. She drove it trouble free for about 8 years.When our son moved to San Francisco 7 years ago, we gave it to him. It got him there fine, where he accrued numerous parking tickets but drove it rarely.2 years before my daughter and her husband got married, our son gave it to them and they drove it all around the country for a full year before they settled in Bellingham Washington, and then Portland OR.They drove it back from Portland and moved to Madison a month ago and needed a better car, so I gave them my 2003 Corolla and took the 1995 back till I could upgrade. I've driven it for the last month.I bought a car today, so after every member of our family owning it, we're making it available. It's been a champ.
