Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a very cool 1966 912 which has been converted into a 911 "outlaw" with a 1970 911T Engine. Serial number: 460605 Engine number: 6107572 Mileage: 63,757 This is a very cool Bahama Yellow 1966 912 that has been very well sorted and fitted with a 1970 911T Engine. It's short wheel base and light weight, make it the ultimate cheater. It was originally a sunroof car and though the sunroof is now fixed into position, it can be easily refit back on the existing tracks. Tranny I believe is original to the car. It has Fuchs wheels and that ducktail spoiler, iconic of the 1973 2.7RS. It's a fun car and is pretty throroughly mecjhanically sorted. It's been my car for several years. It starts, runs and drives like you'd expect of an early 911. The only two negative things that I can think of: 1) The tach doesn't work correctly, 2) The seats don't fold up and down as easily as they could. The paint and cosmetic features of the car can be considered very good condition. You can see over 100 pics including engine and undercarriage here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0yq62pfht5201gb/AAAVhNIEHnsjLz_iAJgzJuOra?dl=0 I am a licensed NC dealer and this car is being sold as-is where-is. I have my own shop with lifts and inspections are most welcome. I will do all that I can to assist in you're being comfortable about what this car is and it's condition. The car has a clean and clear title in hand. The car is titled as a 1966 912. Someone told me the chassis number was built in 66 but is really a 67. I haven't researched that myself. I don't have a build sheet and I'm not a Porsche expert. I got the car mostly as you see it. I've had a mechanic with a wealth of Porsche knowledge dial it in and I've had my own body shop make sure it looks great too. It's had servicing, new lower ball joints and tie rod ends in the front, and a wheel alignment, all in the last few months. I've owned quite a few early Porsches and to me, this one drives every bit like an early short wheelbase car.
