1999 Mercedes Benz E300 D Turbo. I have owned this car for 6 years. Bought it with 99,000 miles in Florida. Always stored in winter. The car is my long distance trip car. From PA to West or South. Very solid loves the open road! Many new and rebuilt parts - radiator, air conditioning system, rebuilt transmission 4,000 miles ago, transmission computer, engine mounts, battery this spring, head liner, brake lines, discs and pads. I have original radio and disc player. Installed Kenwood with SAT and Bluetooth and iPhone or USB input. I have all receipts for work done. No rust, good tires, ready to continue to drive a long way. 33 mpg or better on highway at 80 mph! Just to give you an idea of my rebuilding effort's cost, when I first bought car, spent $4,700 on minor things at a Mercedes dealer, then $3,700 on other transmission related computers before spending $4,770 on total rebuild of transmission last year. Another $1,400 on replacing air-conditioning parts behind the dash, $1,200 on drive shaft, about $1,000 replacing the radiator which was leaking antifreeze that led to the transmission failure, at least that was replaced before the transmission was rebuilt! But now it runs well, but to old to enjoy the long trips!
