Entire vehicle was restored sometime in the 1980s, before we acquired it around a decade ago. About 6 years ago, we pulled the motor out to check quality of the rebuild. The flat-head 4-cylinder engine was again freshened to a bit higher standards. Plus, the rotating assembly had not been balanced. Connecting rods have "insert" type bearings, which appears to be an original configuration. After thorough reconditioning, the entire rotating assembly was precision balanced. All external peripheral components are reconditioned, stock. We have maybe put 100 miles on the recent engine. Fuel system refurbished, cleaned fuel tank, fresh lines, rebuilt carburetor. Ignition still original setup and vehicle is still 6-volt electrical throughout. 6-volt OPTIMA battery installed for reliability and lack of liquid acid. Constantly conditioned with CTEK battery maintainer. Original 3-speed was reportedly rebuilt sometime in the 1980s. It appears the wheels and tires were freshened during that time. The 4.50 x 4.75 x 21 tires are showing age-cracking, fair condition. Same description for the DUAL cowl-mounted spares. No side curtains came with vehicle. Starts, runs and drives as it should. Vehicle is a driver and road-worthy. Great for parades, weddings, etc.
