Please Read Carefully !! 1968 Camaro Convertible This is a garage find Camaro, the owner blew the original 327 in 1976, pushed it in his garage and it sat there until about a month ago. He decided to sell the house and the Camaro was not going to the new house. The car is very original and untouched, Here is what we have. MOTORBlock ( 327 bare block ) double hump heads, crank and that is all.I have, been sitting all these years, does have the exhaust manifolds under the hood. TRANSMISSIONM-20 Muncie Wide Ratio 4 speed, has a Hurst shifter 3885010 stamp number on the transmission, I believe it to be original. No bell housing, 10 Bolt, single leaf rearend BODYCar has been sitting inside but does have rust, rear quarters on both sides are rusting around the wheel wells and behind them , doors are decent but do have a few holes, front fenders have some rust, driver's side has a dent on the front corner some rust in the front seem, rockers are good, inside of the doors are good, trunk lip has some rust British Green was the original color this may be the factory paint, panels fit good, doors shut nice, LOOK AT THE PICTURES, it is going to need work but great start for a restoration project INTERIORSeats are in good condition, original seats, dash pad has a few cracks, glass is all good, I do not have door panels or carpet for the car. Still has the AM radio. TOPTop is in good shape, it is very dirty, I do not know if it could be cleaned up but only has a small rip in the corner on the passenger side. Rear window has no rips, it is plastic. No cover for when it is down. UNDERSIDERear floors have rust, front floors are decent but have some holes not perfect ( check pictures ) Trunk pan is good, Frame rails are good with just surface rust from sitting, underside has a lot of surface rust. Leaf spring perches are good, gas tank has a dent.Shock towers are good no rust. Manuel drum brakes, clean title This is a great find, original car, original factory 4 speed car, has the firewall markings still on the firewall, has Good Year poly glass tires on the rear, T3 headlights, The front tires and wheels were shot so we just put some rollers on ( go with the car ) Everything seems to be correct, it is ready to be put back to it's glory !! This is a nearly fifty year old car that needs restored, so I may have missed a ding or dent or rust hole, I have done my best to be honest, do your research, this is not a weekend project.
