Very nice example of a second generation Toyota 4x4 pickup in original survivor condition (paint, decals, wheels, interior, engine, suspension, etc.). The truck runs excellent to include engine performance, steering, shifting, braking etc. The truck is essentially rust free (body panels, welded seams, undercarriage) except for very minor surface rust in the rear portion of the bed (see photo) which could be left as is or easily sanded off. Cosmetically, the body has some dings, scratches, and previous owner touch-ups but overall presents well. The interior is exceptionally nice with only a small nick in the dash pad and a few missing pieces of smaller plastic trim. Also, the carpet shows some staining on the driver’s side floor. Mechanically, the tires are older and should be replaced, and the clutch master cylinder has a slow drip that occasionally requires topping off. Otherwise, it can be driven anywhere with confidence. This truck would make a respectable daily driver or a great spare truck. It gets excellent gas mileage, does not burn any oil, and is extremely reliable. During my ownership, it passed two emissions tests with results that compare similarly with my newer car. The only reason I am selling is that I am relocating and will lose the ability to properly store the truck. Owner’s manuals and maintenance receipts are included.
