Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1974 Bronco Project. I have been working on this for 5 years and have well north of $30K invested in it. You are getting a project, not an operational vehicle. You will still need to buy some parts and finish the fabrication/installation of others. What has been done:Sheet metal - all metal work (other than the top) and initial body work has been completed. Doors, floor pan, rockers, fenders, hood, windshield surround, tailgate, inner fenders and grill are all new metal. Doors have not been fully fit. Has new quick release door hinges. There is a second set of doors that have had the door glass frame removed and the door channel shaved. Planned to use these doors when top is off. Upper cowl has been modified to eliminate the air boxes. Chassis: was blasted and painted with POR-15. New brake and fuel lines run. New 5-1/2 James Duff lift installed with long travel radius arms and dual shock mounts. This was the Monster Suspension kit from James Duff that runs around $2400. All new bushings. There is also a 3" Body Lift installed which was needed to run the engine/tranny/trans combo. Front cross member has been notched to accommodate the engine. Axles have new bearings and seals. Still have the stock gears and carrier as I was waiting until I chose the tire size to change the gears. Disc Brakes conversion. Power steering gear box was professional rebuilt. Drivetrain: rebuilt 351M/C6/NP205 out of a 79 F150. Motor has a mild cam, ported heads and Edelbrock intake. Motor professionally rebuild by Magnum Machine Shop in Chesapeake, VA. C6 Transmission has a shift kit and stall converter and was built by Gary's Transmission in Norfolk, VA. Transfer case was rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Drive shafts have been remade to length and balanced. Install of drivetrain needs to be completed. Interior: Has a Flaming River tilt column, Has a six point roll cage that is custom built for the Bronco. It needs to be blasted, assembled and painted. Since I planned to run the six point cage, I had the dash modified so move the glove box more toward the center. I also moved the instrument cluster from the right side to the left to make it easier to see when driving. Pictures are during fabrication process. Dash has been fully tig welded. Foot e-brake was converted to a hand e-brake near the console. Instrument cluster was professionally refurbished and detailed by a specialist in Bronco clusters. I have the rear seat, but no front seats. Had planned to run Corbeau seats with harnesses. New parts include: Centex wiring harness, both gas tanks, fiberglass fender flares, fiberglass baja inserts and much more. Old parts include: door glass, door guts, seat belts, brackets, fasteners, interior panels, heater box and everything else I have. Tires are rollers only, hold air but not road worthy. Top: Top is in decent shape. Glass is good. Hinge needs some work and it needs some body work. Need: Bumpers, windshield, front seats, front seat brackets and much more. Clean title in my name. If you don't want the engine/tranny/trans combo, I will take $3000 off the winning bid. No, I do not have the original drivetrain. Ask questions. I will do my best to answer timely. Everything should fit inside the vehicle for shipping. Shipping is buyer's responsibility and I will work with your shipper. I can deliver it east of the Mississippi on an open trailer for $1 per mile both ways. Winning bidder to pay $500 deposit upon the close of the auction and balance via wire, cash or certified funds within 7 days.On Aug-29-17 at 07:22:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction. Instrument cluster was moved from the left side to the right side. It is now in the middle of the dash as seen in the pictures. I left space on the far left and right of the dash to either add speakers or louvers for vintage air conditioning. The layout of most of the knobs has been reconfigured. My plan was to add a custom lower console that had the stereo, cup holders, shifter and offroad light switches (no lower console included with auction as it has not been fabricated yet). Yes, those are original uncut quarters. Hadn't yet decided whether I was going to cut them because they are in good shape. Mounting holes for the spare tire rack have been shaved as I planned to run a bumper mounted spare. New Aluminum radiator. All brackets and pulleys for the engine come with sale. Cross member to mount the transfer case has not yet been fabricated. Only have a piece of square tubing holding the t-case. Yes, there is a hood. It is new and was removed for mocking engine in place. I do have the wiper motor and transmission. Original interior soft panels that came with truck are in poor condition and rear seat will need to be recovered. They are light tan in color. I do not have the brake master and booster as I "borrowed" it for another project. The disc brake kit was ordered from Tom's Bronco Parts and you can readily get the compatible booster/master. Thanks for all the questions, keep them coming.
