This MG was purchased from a estate sale where it had been stored under a cover in a garage for many,many years.The pics were taken the day i got it home in the condition i got it.It had not been washed or cleaned in any way.It was stored on blocks with no fuel in the tank. (I dropped the tank for no reason,it was empty and clean) I put 5 gallon of supreme in it and a fresh battery and it started right up and runs great.The motor appears to be rebuilt and is very clean and painted to match the car.The transmission also is very clean and looks fresh.I pulled up the carpet and cannot find any rust on the floors or anywhere on the body.All 5 wire wheels are in great condition as are the tires.The only thing i changed was the ignition as the keys were MIA when i bought it . The paint on the top of the car is showing its age but could be buffed out to shine.looking at the few scratches it easy to see that its only one coat of paint so if its not original paint it was taken down to bare metal when it was painted.This is a southwest area car and is currently in Phoenix Arizona where it can be inspected if your in the area,If not message me and i will send pics of anything you want to see.Im not a classic car guy in any way , i just purchased the car as a impulse purchase because it seemed like a great deal.That being said i dont know all the things to look for when buying or selling a car of this age.
