Up for sale is a 1998 Honda Superhawk VTR 1000 sports bike. I have owned this bike since 2010. I had Mobile Powersports Repair LLC (Daytona Beach, FL) go through the bike and I spent over $800 on: Rebuilding carburetors/remove and replace front and ready sprockets/remove and replace drive chain/synthetic oil change/clutch adjustment/and it had front & rear brake pads replaced. I also recently installed 2 brand new Pirelli tires on both the front and rear, installed a brand new lithium battery, LED tail light and it has dual exhaust. When not in use, this bike stays inside my house (like a piece of furniture) as it isn't my daily driver. The paint is very glossy and the seat doesn't have any rips or tears. I moved from North Carolina to Florida in 2013 and transported it in the back of a uhaul. Unfortunately, it suffered some body damage during the fall to both the left and right fairings and the windshield during the move. The right fairing has a few cracks near the turn signal and the left fairing split where it attaches to the windshield. The only other minor issue worth mentioning is the ignition key sometimes requires a little wiggling back and forth (maybe 2 or 3 wiggles) as it is the original key. I just got the bike back from the mechanic on July 5 and I rode it around the neighborhood to make sure it was riding great. It runs great and is ready for a new owner. I will include invoices of the repairs made, a clear Florida title signed over to the new owner and a bill of sale. Shipping is buyer's responsibility and this bike is sold AS-IS.
