This is a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe that was an old Hot Rod Built in the early 1960's. This car has been sitting for many years, but is a good start for a cool Hot Rod. The Body is straight with a few body dents. the doors, trunk lid, and hood fit as they should. The biggest dent is on the passenger rear fender. there are a few minor dents on the top too. There are some rust issues also. The trunk pan is rusted out over the axle, There is some rust in the lower driver door and behind the door jam, also a rust hole on the passenger running board. There was a custom rear seat fabricated for the rear for an extra passenger or two. The rear axle has been changed out with a parallel leaf type from an old 50's Ford. it has the 5x4.5 bolt pattern. the original front axle is intact. The pictures show bumperettes on the bumper ends; these are no longer on the car and not part of the sale. This car does not have an Engine or transmission, but I do have a flathead 8BA or small block Chevrolet 350 that can be purchased for an additional cost. Both are completely rebuilt and ready for installation. I have a clear Vintage Original Texas Title. Please ask any questions before bidding.
