1964 1/2 Ford Mustang This is one of the earliest Mustang that is on the market. The Mustang was introduced to the public on April, 17th 1964. This example was build on April, 24th 1964 and is one of the first Mustangs that was delivered to the dealership. VIN: 5F07F119659 Year: 5 1965 (1964 1/2) Plant: F Dearborn, MI Body Series:072 Door Hardtop Engine: F260 2v V8 Unit: 119659 Door tag: Miscellaneous Vehicle DataBody: 65A 2 Door Hardtop, Standard Interior Color: M Wimbledon White Trim: 85 Red Crinkle Vinyl, Standard Interior Date: 24D April 24, 1964 D.S.O: 65 Oaklahoma City Axle: 1 3.00:1, Conventional Trans: 1 3-Speed Manual It is already very hard to find an very early 64 1/2 Mustang.It is even harder to find an almost unmolested example.This Mustang still wears about 70% of it's original paint.There are no signs that the Mustang has ever seen a welding machine.The whole undercarriage is original sheet metal and visible rust (cancer) free.You will find some bubbling on the bottom of the doors and 1/4 panels but no bondo was found in the entire body.No signs of any accident damage.The cowls are in great shape.The interior is in good condition for being 53 years old.The 260ci V8 engine runs good.Somebody painted the valve covers and carburetor blue - I didn't do it ;)The 3 speed tranny shifts good but the Mustang will need a new clutch soon. If you want a piece of Mustang history than you found your car.It is almost impossible to find another one like this.This is an almost all original Mustang that needs to go into a collection.It's not a restored or show car.It is a 53 year old Mustang that was kept as original as possible.
