Very rare French made Cyclotracteur made in Fabrique DE France from 1913 to 1922 . There is one other of these I in a larger Cycle Museum site. I have rebuilt this with a new piston & rings. Has a very one of kind carb. The needle valve is meant by its weight to hold the flow of fuel back but does not work the best. I installed a lite brass compression spring to balance the flow & now runs like a top. The throttle is the handle lever you see has a large taper that is slotted, so when you move the valve you are letting the air with a fixed meter jet. The intake has a small valve with a light compression spring & is called a sniffing valve. There are new tires with new rims & hubs & are 28". The fender braces & rear fender kick stand clip is NOS. The copper tank is a copy I bought from a gentleman in France that reproduces these to the exact size as the original. Very exspensive. He chose to purposely to put dents in the tank to make it look more authentic. You cannot buy one from him without the dents. Notice the sub frame how excact they are. Acme screw with crank handle for lower & raising the engine friction drive. I also has a decompression that raise the exh valve. Head light is Sollar with a tail light using carbide pellets for fuel .Bike frame is a name brand called Standard with original nickel plate head badge. Payment to be made in 7 days of auction end.
