All 1996 Collector Edition Corvettes were painted Sebring Silver and included special trim and special ZR-1 style wheels with wider tires. This CE Corvette has the highly desirable red leather interior and is optioned with •LT-4 engine 330 HP and 6 Speed transmission •Electronic Air Conditioning •Delco Bose Electronic Music System with CD •Six Way Power Driver’s seat •Z51 Performance Handling System •Blue Tinted Roof Panel •Low Tire Pressure Warning The LT4 engine option was only available with the 6-speed manual transmission and was the ultimate C4 Corvette small block, available only in 1996, it is the same engine used in the Corvette Grand Sports. The LT4 increased the compression ratio, installed a special cam, and new designed aluminum heads with Crane roller rockers, increasing the horsepower to a very conservative 330 from the standard LT-1 300 horsepower. These cars have become very popular because of their uniqueness and their outstanding performance. This Corvette has only been driven an average of 3,000 miles per year since new. The car has been maintained at local Chevrolet dealerships over the years. It drives, stops, and runs like it should. The paint looks nice with only the normal wear marks typical for a 21-year-old car. The interior is in good condition and shows well. The blue tinted glass top has some hazing due to age which can be seen when looking up while sitting in the car.
