You are bidding on a rust free, clean California car by way of Florida which was titled by me in NW Indiana in April, 2010. When I bought the car the odometer read 93,625 miles, and it now has 94,589 but the odometer stopped working about 200 miles ago. A friend who runs an import repair shop wanted to trade work for some money he owed me, so he replaced much of the front suspension, put on a new top and rear seat upholstery, front brakes and a few other odds and ends, in all about $3,500 worth of work. However since then two cylinders in the engine have come up with low compression, so while the car does run it would be best to swap engines and I would not recommend driving it far in its current condition. Other projects have come along and we no longer have room to store the BMW, and with the engine issue I decided to sell it on eBay so some other E-30 enthusiast could pick up where I left off. I am opening the auction with a very low opening bid, so this is one of those proverbial "my loss is your gain" stories. Note that since the right rear window switch is not working I could not lower the window to show the top down, but it is a manual operation and it will come down, just not with the back windows up. I should also point out that both rear tires have slow leaks, but due to age if nothing else all four tires should be replaced, and if I were going to keep it I would get nicer wheels, as several of these are pitted and don't look that great. I am a private owner and do not collect any fees or taxes, the final bid is the only money due. I ask for a $250 paypal deposit within 48 hours of auction end and final payment within a week, though the car can stay here longer if you need time to arrange pickup.
