Up for auction is my 1982 mustang hatchback. The car runs drives and shifts great and sounds awesome. The motor is a .030 over 289 with a mild cam, Edelbrock intake, Holley 4 barrel, shorty headers and 2.5 inch flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is a C6 with a transgo shift kit. The rear end is a 3.73 posi. The guy I got it from said the motor, trans, and rear end were all rebuilt about 5-6 years ago. I drive this car back and forth to work about 5 days a week. Its a really fun car and I always have a blast driving it. The body has never been "restored" and is in really good condition for a car that's almost 35 years old. If you wanted to buy this car and drive it how it is now you could do that for years with no problem. Or if you looking for a real clean, good metal car to start with to do a restoration this is an amazing candidate too. I have included pictures of underneath the vehicle so you could see floor pans and trunk pan are all solid. There are just a couple things that I would say are first on the list to fix. 1. Power steering pump leaks a few drops every night I just keep a close eye on it and have never let it run dry. 2. Rear shocks are about ready to be replaced. 3.
