The summer heat is here. A 1977 Convertible Bug with the top down is certainly fun to drive. It is a very nice daily driver. The engine has been tuned, a new carburetor was installed the brake system has been completely redone. The seats and door panels have been updated as well as the convertible top. This car is a very good find, solid body. Makes for a great ride. A modern day barn find. Spent 15 years in a temperature controlled garage. The car is solid, no rust. We converted to carburetion. Did a full brake job. The transmission is very tight in shifting and doesn't have the usual finding the gears problem. Bidding starts at $250.00 Fresh maintenance has just been done; a new ignition switch, wiper switch and a SWF turn signal switch.The bug has passed Virginia State Inspection with no issues. Mileage is not known but title shows 209904 miles. That is honestly what is known. THIS VW HAS NO WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
