Vehicle Detail

Tastefully modified adult-owned, well maintained 05 Tacoma. 183k miles and I purchased it with 122k miles. At 123k miles it developed a slight head gasket leak on the #6 cylinder. I purchased the truck from Ira Toyota in Manchester and they replaced all the gaskets from the block up under warranty. So the entire top end of the motor was resealed at 123k miles. I have had zero issues since. All the serpentine drive pulleys and tensioner as well as the Alternator have been replaced. Rotors/Calipers/master cylinder and Performance Friction pads all within the last 18 months. Truck has the factory limited slip rear differential and the tow package. Oil changes with synthetic oil and factory Toyota filters every 5k. Transmission drain and fills every 15k miles with synthetic. Differential and transfer case fluids changed every 20k. Brake fluid changed every 2 years. Front bumper repainted last year and new headlights/grill installed at the same time to freshen it up. Everything works the way it should and the truck looks/drives great. You would never guess it has 183k miles on it. I looked at several of these trucks before I purchased this one. This is actually my 3rd 05 Tacoma and my 15th Toyota truck. I looked primarily at the frames because my previous 2 were pretty rough underneath when I sold them. This one was quite clean. So I used Eastwood internal frame coating on the inside of the frame and used a KB coatings (kind of like POR-15) chassis kit on the outside of the frame. And I installed the plastic plugs in the holes on the frame like the 2012-up trucks had from the factory. When it went in for the frame check service campaign they said it was fine and coated it. I also fluid film the crap out of the bottom of it every fall. Non-stock stuff: Suspension – Bilstein 5100 series shocks. Old Man Emu 2884 springs up front and Toyota Recall springs in the rear along with a 3 leaf progressive add a leaf from Wheeler’s offroad. Up front I also installed SPC camber/caster adjustable upper control arms. Alignment is within factory specs for camber and I had them add a little more caster for better highway stability Wheels/Tires – American Racing 16x8 AR-23 wheels with 0 Offset. 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. These are a size up from the stock TRD size tires. The speedo actually reads accurate now instead of being slightly optimistic. About 15K miles on the wheels/tires. And I do have the center caps for the wheels Lighting – Truck has PIAA night tech headlight bulbs and crappy yellow Ebay fog lights. The driving lights are Hella 700FF’s and they are mounted on a rack I made that bolts to the radiator support and sticks through the grill. No holes in the truck. I also have one of those LED bed light kits that I used down one side of the bed and I put a few under the hood and in the front wheel wells. Stereo – Basic double-din Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth. The front speakers are Infinity 6x9’s and the rears are Infinity 6.5’s. I do have a steering wheel controller so the buttons still work. Interior – Weathertech floor mats up front and a 1 piece floor liner in the rear. I also added the factory temp/compass like the TRD models had into the upper console on the headliner. Honestly I really do not truly want to sell this truck. But I’m in-between houses and really don’t need it. I primarily drive my GTI and in the summer I typically ride my motorcycle when weather permits. The money would go a long way towards sorting out some other debt I have to make getting into another house quicker. If I don’t get my asking price I’ll hold onto it.
