Vehicle Detail
For sale is my custom built 1979 Honda CB650. This bike has been converted into a beautiful Café Racer. Bike runs good and engine had 24,000 miles before the build. This is a cb650 frame with a cb550 engine. Bike was built from frame up. All excess tabs were removed from the frame and it was powder coated gloss black and engine is painted a Ducati engine gray. The tank was taken from a CB500 and painted a dark maroon red. Bike looks black if not in the sun. It has a light red vintage style stripe along the bottom of the tank that wraps around the tail/seat. Cushion on seat is held on with strong Velcro and seat is bolted on with 3 allen head screws. All wiring and electronics are routed under the seat in a custom pan with components bolted to it. A brand new gel battery is under the seat hump. Frame has been hooped in the rear and led brake light has blinkers integrated in it. Front head light has led blinkers built into it and it is a 5 3/4 unit. Head fairing is painted to match bike and mounted under windshield are the mini gauges. Bike has been converted to dual front disc brakes with modern red anodized race style levers mounted to clip-ons. Pod filters added and anodized red along with brand new Excel matching rims and IRC tires front and back. Shocks were anodized red too. Front fairing is easily removable via allen bolts if you prefer to ride without it. Finned tappets were added to the engine and anodized red. Bike has 4 into 1 exhaust with a satin black reverse cone muffler and sounds great. Its not overly loud either. A custom mud guard was added to stop any debris from getting into pod filters. Rear-sets were also added to match riding position of clip-ons. I have a clear title in hand. Bike is sold as is, where is. no warranty. Buy with confidence as I have built and sold several bikes on Ebay. I will assist with shipping arrangements but costs are to be covered by buyer.
