This is a true barn find. I am not sure why the car was partially taken apart, but I can guess that they were going to paint it. This car was stored inside for many years. The car is very solid and the only small rust holes are on the driver's side floorboard (see picture). It looks as though they sanded it down to bare metal and primed. The under dash HVAC is missing and also the rear seat is missing along with other upholstery and the front windshield. When I got the car, I put Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders, waited a few weeks, and then rolled the engine over by hand and then turned it over with the starter. I put 2 brand new tires on the car so that I could transport it. This would make an easy restoration project as I have seen no rust around either the front or back glass. The 2 front fenders are just sitting on the body. The trunk is full of parts for the car -- Miscellaneous parts and front and rear headlight and taillight assemblies along with other body parts (see pictures). Winning bidder will pay $250 deposit to Ebay with balance due in U.S. cash currency upon picking up the car. The car is located in the Houston, TX area (Sealy, TX). Car can be picked up anytime until August 10 and on weekends only after that. purchase must be paid in full within 15 days of sale end
