1973 Triumph Hurricane X-75, beautiful custom built show and drag bike. This was built to be the personal drag bike of Danny "D.T." Howard who many people know as one of the Harrisburg, Pa areas local British bike aficionados, drag race record holder and creator and publisher of Classic Cycle Review. Unfortunately D.T. became sick and never got this bike to the track. It is is an original Hurricane frame with the numbers on it and original paint on the tank from what I am told but can not guarantee that. The rear fender was custom molded over the original chrome fender and then professionally painted to match. I do have the mold as well. It does have a clean and clear title. The original numbers matching motor is apart in a crate and is included in this auction. The current motor is a high compression, fully built 900 cc race motor that has never been fired. The entire motor and electrical system has just been gone over by Collins Classic Cycles. The bike could be put back to stock but I think it should remain in its current form and put into someone's private collection. It's an amazing looking bike as it sits.
