The 4.2 liter engine purrs and still drives like it just got off from the showroom. Engine is powerful and strong with great throttle response. There are no strange noises coming from the engine compartment. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. The suspension is nice and firm without any noises like a low mileage XK8 should be. The power steering works great and has no issues. The brakes are spot on. Autocheck shows one minor accident reported. Someone must have touched the car and the first owner called the police. I was told by the first owner it was a minor touch to the car. I am the 2nd owner for 9 years. A non-smoker car, none of any unwanted strange smell or perfume in the interior. Very clean. The paint is very brilliant and not dull. It shines and still retains a reflective gloss of a new car. Always garaged. Have never seen snow. The wheels shine. The leather seats are supple, no tears, shrinkage or cracks.
