One of the rarest RPO production corvettes ever made by GM with only 50 cars produced to commemorate the life of one of the most successful corvette dealers and friend of GM in it’s history. Furthermore, of the original 50, 20 had the 4/3 DN manual transmission and the remaining 30 were automatics, now of the 30 automatics just 10 came equipped with the Z51 sport suspension which brought the larger diameter sway bars, stiffer suspension, Bilstein yellow performance shocks, larger rear tires, transmission oil cooler ans much more. Now of these cars even fewer had the G92 performance axle with option G44 that brings the Dana 36 3.07:1 gear ratio which beats the pants off the line compared to the regular 2.73.This car has both the Z51 sport suspension package with that performance axle option. I have driven many C4s and this one pulls like a tractor of the line. That rear ring and pinion gear performance option makes a huge difference off the line and it still cruises well at highway speeds, The car really scoots.See if any of the other Mk Corvettes for sale offer these options, I highly doubt it. When I saw this car in person I fell in love and I just had to buy it from a reluctant seller, who was moving and couldnt store the car, the color combination is striking in that silver beige over black, the graphite interior and glass top is beautiful as well. Everything works, AC is cold and she Still smells like a new C4 The car is a great conversation piece and needs to be on display. Sitting in my garage under a car cover for an occasional car show is not what this car deserves so Its my hope that a buyer will put this on display in their collection or just drive it. A Konner car is on display at the National Corvette Museum , what other corvette owner can say that about their car?
