Bid to own! I'm starting the auction at my minimum price, so any bid from there on is the sale price. For sale: A 1991 Geo Metro LSi Convertible in excellent mechanical condition and with a solid body. You may find one cheaper, but you won't find one any more solid and reliable than this one for the price. In the last 5,000 miles, numerous parts have been installed. There is nothing wrong with the VIN number, and the clear PA title matches the VIN plate on the car, or PA would not have issued me a title. I suspect the issue is with the odometer exceeding its mechanical limits as it is a 5 digit odometer as it only shows 5,XXX miles hence 105,XXX. If Pennsylvania titles a car, any state will title that car. They are that stringent. It as A/C, however I never bothered to check as to why it blew lukewarm. May need Freon, however, again, running A/C on a 3 cylinder while driving in town isn't a great idea anyway! The body is STRAIGHT, with just a few quarter-sized dings. There is NO RUST in the "usual places" that Geos typically rust. The faded white hood stripe has about a 4 inch section with surface rust on it (see photos). That's it! Original paint is good, but would buff out even better. I started to remove the dried, faded decal on the driver's side. A death in the family has redirected my time, and is the reason I do not care to own it anymore. That is the only reason I am selling it. No rust to undercarriage, floor boards, rockers, and absolutely no rust on frame or suspension components. Convertible top has no holes and does not leak, however it should be replaced. The 3 pieces of weather stripping on each side need replacing. Color coordinated plastic bumpers have some scrapes, and the lower front spoiler has a small (3") crack on the bottom (see photo) The interior carpets need cleaning (or replacing for restoration). No damage to dash or interior; no cracks or warping. Custom car cover is included. A GREAT START at a full restoration, or simply drive it. Averages about 34 MPG. Of course, I cannot warrantee this vehicle, and it is being sold "as is." I require a non-refundable deposit of $200 to my PayPal account immediately upon winning the bid. The remaining balance can be either cash, money order, or bank check. Any funds must clear satisfactorily prior to delivering the vehicle and release of the title. Full payment is due no later than 7 days after purchase. I am more than willing to provide any documentation you feel necessary to insure a smooth and easy registration of the vehicle in your area. Any commitment to purchase, and not fulfilled, will be reported to eBay, and may include negative feedback on your account. DO NOT PURCHASE unless you are ready and able to finalize your purchase! I am EASY to get along with, and extremely flexible, so the last thing I want are any problems. I am willing to store the vehicle at no charge to the winning buyer for 2 weeks, unless there is a mutual agreement to different terms. I will be very flexible with meeting your shipper should you choose to do so. Again, full payment must be made and clear the bank prior to the vehicle and title leaving my possession.
