Let me start by saying, if you would like to buy this car, please bid. If not, PLEASE DO NOT BID! It's pretty simple. I am relisting due to the high bidder placing a winning bid 5 hours before auction end, then contacting me that she didn't want it. She never talked to me other than to email that she decided not to buy it, and she never saw the car. Now that I have that out of my system, let's try this again!... I am selling my inlaw's 2004 Mini Cooper S for them. I'm not going to tell you it's "LIKE NEW" or "IN PERFECT CONDITION", because it's not. It is, however, probably one of the cleanest and well kept 13 year old Minis in the area.My inlaws purchased it in 2006 with 42k miles and have owned it since, keeping immaculate records over the past 11 years - besides a stack of receipts, you'll notice the hand-written note book with entries for every single service since they bought it. It has been my mother-inlaw's car from day one of their ownership, and from the pictures I'm sure you can tell it was her baby.As I mentioned, it's not perfect. There is some wear on the driver's seat from entry/exit, but otherwise the interior is in great shape. Being a California car, the exterior is starting to show some slight fading on the plastic parts. It otherwise shines nicely and cleans up very well. Everything works on this car - sunroof, cold a/c, power windows, etc. There are no warning lights on the dash, no fluid leaks underneath, or funky smells. It has not been smoked in. It includes nearly new tires, the original tire repair kit and compressor, both keys and a clean and clear title. It runs great and is a blast to drive. However, there has been one nagging issue that they have had. Intermittently it would not start. It was random and could never be reproduced. They had it recently towed to their service center to fix the issue once and for all. The shop could not duplicate the problem, but just to be safe, they spent over $900 on the fuel system, including a new fuel filter and fuel pump. It seems to have fixed the problem, as it has had no issues starting since, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country.They have spared no expense over the past 11 years of ownership in keeping it in top mechanical condition - as evidenced by the stack of service and maintenance receipts. You are getting a much loved and cared for vehicle that is ready to just be driven and enjoyed. I will accept a $500 deposit via PayPal at auction end, however the balance will need to be paid in full, in cash only.I have the car at my home in Loma Linda.
