This Audi does not start. The steering lock actuator is bad; this shuts down the entire electrical system and prevents the car from starting. The actuator is in the steering column assembly and the entire assembly must be replaced. Also, before this problem, the check engine light was on. See attached report provided by the local Audi dealer. There is a scratch on the trunk; other than that, the exterior and interior are in very good condition. It has always been garaged and never been smoked in. In 2016, the engine was replaced with an engine with only 75,000 miles on it. The engine itself cost $2575. Parts and labor was several thousand dollars more and included replacing the water pump, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, spark plugs, intake gaskets, thermostat, sensor and recharge of the a/c unit. The battery was replaced with a new one in early 2017. This is a great buy for someone who has the ability to get it running again.
