1982 Mercedes Benz 300 TD turbo diesel Wagon Rust free California car. Up for sale is my 1982 Wagon.. the legendary 5 cylinder turbo diesel.. owned this car for the last 4 years and its been mostly used for a weekend beach cruiser to my boat... but now its time to pass it on. being a California car it has no rust on it . it was repainted about 3 years ago to its original color , so the paint looks very nice, its was repainted with the original single stage paint.. its always been regularly maintained and its always been very reliable .. its in very nice shape for being 35 yrs old .. so if you've been searching for a solid daily driver diesel wagon, then this might be a good candidate for you. over 80 pictures uploaded on this page .just scroll down to view.. The exterior looks very nice and intact.. all the lights work fine, all glasses are in good shape, tires are at 70%, and the underbelly is rust free and damage free... its definitely a head turner everywhere i go.. The interior is in good shape for its age.. has power windows, right rear window works intermittent, manual door locks, the interior shows its wear for a 35yr old car , but still looks great ,, all the gauges work except for the rpm gauge which is also intermittent, ac blows air but will need to be serviced for ice cold air.. heater works ,.. dash has 2 cracks, the 3rd seat is in good shape, its a 7 passenger .. it has a manual sliding sunroof which i never used... radio doesnt work overall the interior is in average shape.. Mechanically in good shape.. always starts . the engine sounds excellent.. very smooth .. does not smoke or shake..it leaks couple drops of oil every week or so which is not bad at all, always runs at normal temperatures, the transmission shifts nicely and does not slip.. glow plugs have been replaced, valves were adjusted, oil changed, both fuel filters replaced, fuel lines replaced, and the cooling system was redone,, overall its a Tank.. get in and drive to wherever you like.. it drives very nicely on the freeway and has lots of power, brakes are in good shape.. this models are known as the million mile cars for a reason.. quality... i can arrange shipping to your door if you like.. just ask.. located in Los Angeles California.. i have the title on hand ready to sell.
