Matching numbers 327, proper date coded block, decked and re-stamped, factory side exhaust, power steering and antenna. Car is all stock except for after market electronic ignition which fits into stock distributor. True mileage unknown. Speedo did not work when i purchased this car in 1983. Engine rebuilt in 1993. Has very low mileage since that time. All gauges work. Good driver. Needs cosmetic restoration: paint, convertible top (frame is fine), seat covers, dash pads, door panels. Light motors need rebuilding or replacing. Not originally a two top car, but i have a hard top that i will include in the deal. Thats worth at least $1,500. Or drive like i do as a great old vette with lots of patina. I prefer to deal with local buyers but will cooperate with shipping at buyer's expense. This a no-reserve auction. On May-11-17 at 10:18:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I took car to my mechanic this morning for a tune up, oil change, lube and bleed brakes. At the request of several bidders I have added some photos of the underside. Spare tire cover is original and intact, but there is no spare. There is minor surface rust on some areas of frame. No cancer. There is some seepage at the engine/tranny, but not leaking. Has not left any significant oil on my garage floor. I drove it there this morning and I have a video going through the gears which i can text. Running good. Will run even better with tune up and carb adjustment. Carb was rebuilt less than a year ago by professional service. I also took a pic with the hardtop, which is black primer, but the whole car needs paint. On May-11-17 at 10:49:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Actual odometer reading is 35,468 -- not 34,000. I put 34,000 as a placeholder from memory. Actual exact mileage is not known due to speedo not being functional when I bought car in 1983, and then a change in gauges many years ago.
