This is the best way to get into a SL500 right here! Beautiful, comfortable, serviced and ready to enjoy! So let's get right into it, why the rebuilt title? This is a ZERO ACCIDENT CAR! None. All original paint and body panels. No fires, no floods, no hail, no godzilla. So why does it have a rebuilt title? This car had a wiring harness issue that was reported to insurance because it shorted out. The result was a write off due the VERY expensive replacement of the wiring harness. The harness was replaced none the less and works perfectly with no issues. Note even on the Carfax, no accidents, no reported damage, only reports the rebuilt title. This was a A-list celebrity owned car and was very well cared for, so fear not of covered up or poor repairs. This status is only from the wiring repair. Onwards! This black beauty was equipped with the glass roof, distronic, heated and cooled seats, wood trim, Sport Package, on top of the already super luxurious standard trimmings. This car also has an add-on satellite radio! Air suspension works perfectly, top works perfect, locks, windows, engine, trans, power seats, radio, and all other electronics work as they should. The car does say there is a Distronic error (the distance control for the cruise control) and that is the only fault with the entire car's electronics or drivetrain. While the wiring harness was replaced the car was reviewed and received any minor services it was due for. Body is in fantastic shape. NO ACCIDENTS, Carfax is clear of damage reports. Original paint and minor flaws only to be expected with a 67k mile car, i.e. minor chips, scratches or dings, but nothing excessive or worth describing as anything other than a very clean car showing above average appearance to its peers. It truly looks the part! Especially in the classic Black over Gray color scheme. The car does show the wrong badge on the rear (SL55, rather SL500) which it received earlier in its life. Eventually every car will break, if you find one that doesn't please let me know. I do my ABSOLUTE BEST to describe accurately the shape of the truck, but keep in mind it is impossible to discuss every detail of a car for better or worse. Please adjust your expectation level to that of a 67k mile car that is in very nice shape. This is a very nice example of this SL500, but please just remember that car is perfect. Please only bid if you intend to buy. If you would like to have an Ebay 3rd party mechanic service check out the car I MORE than welcome it. Please have the car checked out before bidding and not after, if you intend to use that service.
