Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1972 Karmann Ghia in Irish Green. I am sad to have to let go of the car, but I no longer have time to spend on the vehicle, and I am moving soon. The car has minimal rust since it has spent most of its life in Arizona. Floors are all solid and there. There is some rust on the rockers but all ghias seem to have this. There are all new suspension components including a 2 inch adjustable narrowed beam up front as well as drop spindles. It has new brake calipers, tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, and steering components. The shifter bushings have also been replaced so shifts are smooth and concise. The engine has great compression and has a newly rebuilt and tuned german solex carburetor from volksbitz (reputable rebuilder), new fuel lines, filter, as well as a new Pertronix svda distributor, new plugs, and wires. I was able to run up and down the street with it. It just needs a timing adjustment to run perfectly (I didn't have the chance to borrow a timing light.) The gas tank is newly refurbished with tank sealer and the exterior sprayed with a durable truck bed lining, as well as the rest of the underhood area. There are new hood seal, trunk seals, and other odds and ends. The car also has new HID lighting, and LED turn signals, brake lights, and backup lights. MOMO steering wheel with VW button is also included. Also included are a lot of extra parts. New emblems, bigger and stiffer aftermarket sway bar, etc. This car runs and drives but just needs some time put in to install the rest of the parts I already have. Car has a clean MA title. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you may have. I will try to answer them the best I can!
