Vehicle Detail
This is a 1976 BMW R100 upgraded with RS components. It was a complete bike before being disassembled for reconstruction to a racer. Overall: The only parts that are not included are the electrical components, gauges, and battery which are gone. The ignition components are present as well as starter. Body:The seat and fairing are fitted and are made by Boxer Cafe. The seat tray has been extended to include number boards. There is a crack in the epoxy on one side, but it does not extend through the fiberglass. The paint is Dupont base coat/clear. Everything is painted. No decals or vinyl. Engine: 1000cc. 40mm carburetors and heads from an RS. New Kibblewhite head components, Oil cooler. Stainless tubing to construct equal length headers into single outlet with merge collector. Powder coated. (the valves I bought are 44I and 38E. Yes, I am aware 38 is not factory exhaust size. The ports and valves are way too large in relation to the intakes in my opinion and cause decreased efficiency by not having sufficient velocity.) Transmission: factory 5 speed, exterior powder coated except rear cover (forgot it when I went to powder coater). Suspension: front Race Tech springs and gold valves. Rear converted to mono shock BMW S1000RR shock and spring Wheels and tires: factory wheels powder coated, Michelin tires Upgrades, new never used (except starter and damper has some miles) Valeo starter Dynatek ignition Woodcraft clip ons Tarozzi rear set Race Tech gold valves and springs Kibblewhite 44mm intake and 38mm exhaust valves, spring and retainer kit, valve guides, $100s in new, OEM gaskets, parts, and shims pictured. EBC Racing front disc, pads, and rear shoes Boxer Cafe Seat and Spitfire Fairing Gustafsson Plastics windscreen Ohlin steering damper Powder coating by Coyote Coating of Birmingham, AL. They do a lot of work for the Barber Museum. The powder coating alone was over $1000. It includes the engine, transmission, frame, swing arm, front forks, rear drive, wheels (see pics). I can package the components in containers for shipping and assist with loading. I have a loading dock at my shop if needed. Life has gotten in the way and I will never finish this.
