Vehicle Detail

I have had the car since 2009. There is absolutely no rust on the car anywhere. It is a true 118 VIN car. I have decided to sell the car because I just don't have time to enjoy it. Basically, the only time I have driven it is to the restoration shop and back. All work has been professionally done by Classic Heaven Restorations in Tempe, AZ. I have had most parts either restored, repaired or replaced. There are no interior rips, tears or markings of any kind. All work has been done from January 2009 to present. I also have the Protect-O-Plate, new reproduction Owner's Manual and a binder almost 3” thick with all the work that has been done to the car. The binder will be included as well. I even have the proper decals in the correct places in the trunk and hood. The color combination of red on red is pretty rare. I have done countless searches on this car on every car site 2-3 times a week since 2009 and have only seen about 5 cars with this color combination. The engine is a 400 CI Chevrolet engine 2 bolt main. Horsepower is about 275. I have never had it on a dyno to obtain the exact horsepower. Based on what the restoration shop told me, the engine in the car is from the 1980's. Rear end gear ratio is 2.73:1. Following is a list of things that have been done to the car. I have spent over $100,000 on parts and labor, not including the cost of buying the car. Pro's $10,000 paint job in 2012 New Edelbrock carburetor Engine dress up kit New CalTracs traction bar system New Heidt's front end Mustang II kit. Includes power steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. New 700R4 transmission New Heidt's adjustable power steering valve New 505 Torque Thrust II rims wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT 17” tires New front and rear sway bars New fuel sending unit New slotted and cross drilled rotors Calipers have been powder coated red Correct optional OEM dash mounted tachometer. This was old stock right out of the box. Needle stopped working about two months ago and I believe it is just do to a loose wire. The unit still lights up. I also have the original parts box it came in. If you know anything about these, they alone cost about $900. Classic Auto A/C with GM Performance serpentine accessory drive kit New GM high intensity ignition system New GM heavy duty 160 amp alternator New dual radiator fan All new belts and hoses All new rubber bushings New tail light bezels and bushings New rear window with correct date code New interior rear window molding New dash conversion kit from '66-'67 GTO. Sold by Shiftworks. All new window felt All new window weather stripping and trunk seal New Tri-bar red dot headlights Power antennae Secret Audio mounted in the glove box with kick panel speakers and remote control. 6 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. OEM radio was not hooked up when I bought the car and I do not know if it works. Trunk mounted battery with pigtail under the trunk to allow the battery to be attached to a trickle charger. Battery does have a cutoff switch also. New red interior trunk carpet New interior carpet with Damplifier Pro material installed on floor pan and under package tray frame New interior rear arm rests with new interior SS screw set New GM red floor mats Two hood and trunks lights installed New console top shift plate Glove compartment mounted trunk release New glove compartment lock assembly New sun visor brackets New solid steal chrome lever seat adjustment knobs New console mounted seat belt clips New front and rear seat belts Exterior panels have been re-aligned to correct gaps Seat backs have been re-painted with correct paint OEM refurbished rear defroster and it does work New steering wheel New cigarette lighter New rear view mirror New exterior door handles. They have not been installed yet. Customized dash mat. The dash does not have any cracks or markings. Dash mat is protect the dash from the sun. Tinted windows all around with sun visor tint New correct OEM ribbed driver's side and passenger side view mirrors New correct year coded jack stand and handle New aftermarket dress up high beam floor pedal, brake pedal and gas pedal Cross member on grill has been painted red and really sets the car off Con's There is an engine oil leak from the rear main seal. I just haven’t had time to address it. Roof does have bondo on it along the edges. I am not sure why as there have been previous owners. Have had no issues with that since the car was painted. Some scratches in front side windows. Car is sold as is with no express or implied warranty. It is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I am very attached to this car. I have put my own hard work into it. If the reserve is not met or the bidding does not come close to the reserve price, the car may not be listed again. I don't have to sell this car, but it does need someone who will take very good care of it and drive it like it was meant to be. I have listed everything I could think of, but I have no doubt that I left a few things off. Please allow time for me to answer any questions.
